This is one of the question that came into my mind while I was in bed “Can a popular blog friends can make you popular too? “. Does having a popular or well-known blogger friends could increase your blogger status? I observed a few number of people who’s blog seems not good enough, they haven’t updated it regulary but since they’re closed to some well-known blogger they are also been praised by newbie bloggers or let’s just say some ass kissers.
Sometimes I can say that “It’s not what you know, It’s whom you know” can be applicable into blogging society. I thought that those quotes are only applicable in the real world but can also be in blogosphere. There are lots of quality blogs that has good content whether it’s a make money, seo, blogging, computers and a lot more. Some of them are not popular because they don’t have popular friends.
Although there are lots of ways to achieve popularity for your blogs but I think one way to achieved it is by making friends with those popular blog people. In your own opinion does popular blog friends can make you popular too?

Blogging is all about social contacts. The more blogs you participate with and the more bloggers you know the better chance you have of being linked to or mentioned and the higher your chance of success.
It is about who you know, but eventually you will need to develop good content as well otherwise the readers won’t stay.

Your probably right, I guess the “who you know” factor is one way for a blog to success aside from the good content.

I really don’t know if it helps linking to popular bloggers para maging popular. Para sakin…yung content at style pa rin ng isang blog ang kailangan para magkaroon ng dahilan na balik-balikan ka ng readers at para maging popular.

. Tama ka miss Maru content is the key to attract more readers.

Maybe there is a factor, feeling mo sikat ka narin hehehe… kidding aside having one you have different outlook in blogging and this :who you know: will naturally introduce you to others newbies in blogging.

that “feeling sikat attitude” is something a person should avoid but some people are enjoying it I guess

We have to see how close we are with other bloggers. If it’s totally stranger and then you made friend with him/her, it’s not easy to make your blog to be as famous as they are. Unless you’ve met them in real life then coincidentally both of you have the same interest in blogging, then it should be fine.
For example, JC and Shoemoney. They never met before..Only through blogging. But when they started the competition previously, made both of them famous in blogosphere. Then they meet each other and become good friend. That’s how it should be.
Why noobies can be famous too? Because of free review. If you’re famous, do a review about others. Let’s help each other to be famous. It’s a good thing, doesn’t it?

probably yes, I guess socialization is another factor to be consider

My first time here, in your comment section, that is, hehe.
This is a thought-provoking post.
I believe that blogging is more than just writing and hitting the publish button. We NEED to go out of our own respective niches to socialize and make friends with co-bloggers. Those popular ones you were mentioning in your post may not have the best blog content there is but they have the best interpersonal skills. Bumabawi, hehehe!
Interaction with bloggers is made possible by accepting memes and passing them on with their fellow bloggers, doing blog reviews, quoting bloggers fromtheir posts and the like.
To develop a strong mutual bond and camaraderie in the blogosphere is what makes it all the more fun and exciting!
