Google Chrome web browser to challenge Microsoft Internet Explorer
Google Inc to launch tommorrow a Webkit-based browser called Google Chrome in a challenge to Microsoft Internet Explorer. Google Chrome will be launch in beta version in more than 100 countries. They also built a more powerful JavaScript engine, V8, to power the next generation of web applications that aren’t even possible in today’s web browser.
This beta version of Google Chrome is available for Windows while Mac and Linux version are still at work. Google used components from Apple’s Webkit and Mozilla’s Firefox, according to reports Google Chrome will be open-sourced which means users can modify the code.
Let’s just see how this Google Chrome works. I haven’t even tried it yet but would love to try it. ![]()

A Google browser could be really awesome but from the sounds of the Google blog, it still has a lot of development planned for it before it’s out of beta.
