Sony announces PSP 3000. So what’s new?

Sony has announced its new Play Station Portable, the PSP 3000. So what’s new? The PSP 3000 has its built-in microphone to use SKYPE calls easier, improve and brighter LCD screen and a SKYPE software. According to David Reeves, President of SCEE, the reasons behind the built-in microphone and SKYPE software is to established the PSP as a viable communication device. The PSP 3000 is available in two colors the “Pearl White” or “Mystic Silver”.

The new PSP 3000 has only been announced in European markets, which will be available on October 15th for €199. The current PSP “Slim’n'light model” will remain on sale.

   That’s all? They call it PSP3000 and it’s only a upgrade for easier use of Skype! I’m a big Playstation fan, but that’s ridiculous!
