A British man jailed indefinitely for acting as web librarian for a child pornography ring. Philip Thompson, 27, was arrested after police found over 250,000 images of child abuse in his computer. Thompson plead guilty to 16 counts of making indecent photographs of children, 7 counts of distributing indecent images of children and 1 count of inciting a child under 13 years of age to engage in sexual act.

Philip Thompson will kept in prison until it is determined that he is no longer a threat to public safety. I bet he will have a long vacation in jail. According to the authorities, “He was essentially the librarian for a myriad of images that were distributed to like-minded individuals in this country and elsewhere.”

Authorities investigation of internet group that engage in child pornography has identified over 360 suspects worldwide and more than 130 are in UK.
