EON CyberAccount Card from UnionBank arrives

Finally, my EON CyberAccount Card from UnionBank arrives. It takes a long period to get this one. I still remember I made two post about it the “UnionBank EON CyberAccount services still not working” and “Applying for Union EON CyberAccount”.

Since the online application still not working I managed to apply direct to there branches and finally I got my own card now. The big difference when you apply direct to there branches based on my experienced is that you can link it immediately to your paypal account, unlike before when we linked my wife’s card it takes a lot of days because of those unlocked debit issue. The EON card design now is different from the old one .

   Hi, Rhyan. What branch did you apply, please? I went to Unionbank West Av and I was informed it was gooing to take 2-3wks to claim the card.

   And also, did you bring a tin id to claim the card? I only have a number, no id card.

   Unionbank navotas. Nope I didn’t bring a tin id card. I only have a number and they accept it naman :D. I only bring my passport :D.

   hi, may you further explain how you linked it to your paypal account? that’s over-the-counter right? i just claimed my eon card this morning and i dont have a clue what todo next. pls help po. salamat

   Hello,

   Sorry for the delayed answer, I’m just busy this past few days …. now you have to deposit at least P100 because Paypal will charge $1 plus for the verification process. Then enrolled your EON card to Paypal. After enrolling your card, Paypal will ask for the Expuse (Expanded Use Number). It will take 2-3 days before your Expuse to came up just called UnionBank customer service and ask for your Expuse. After having your Expuse number submit it to Paypal then your paypal account now is verfied.

   If you want you may also enroll your EON card to UnionBank Online Banking it will take 2 days to activate your account to online banking. I suggest that you should for you to find out if ever you money came whenever you transfer a certain amount from paypal to your card. Hope this answers you
