I did some updates on one of our forum sites this morning. Yeah! I’m a little bit lazy to update things especially when it comes to new version of softwares or patches. I do maintain some websites and forum sites. Actually, before I came into this blogging industry, I’m a member and at the same time an administrator of a forum site. And doing this is much interesting, although there are times that you feel bored.

Running a forum site is almost the same as a blog site. You tend to update some things every time a new version is available. I prefer to use simplemachines software packages for our forum sites. There are lots of available forum software packages online but I’m more knowledgeable on simplemachines. This morning I tend to update and install few modification packages for our forum. Modification packages are softwares that change your forum’s operation, add or removes features and a lot more.

Well, I just hope that the users or future users on that site will appreciate and more comfortable on using it. It’s nice to have a forum site based on my experience, How bout you? do you have plans on running a forum site?
