Surfing back from your favorite site everyday or every hour seems to be a waste of time or you might get bored immediately, but you can’t stop from doing it (then stay away from your computer for a while >:) ). Honestly I usually do this before and it feels like being a stupid sometime getting back and forth, waiting for any new post or article.
I try to make use with Google Reader to let me stay up to date to my favorite news site or blogs for any new post. It makes me save time and effort to have a sneak peak on any new content from my favorite site, just like hitting multiple birds in one stone. No need to visit one site to another just to find out any new content.

This tool is very much useful especially if your doing some reporting post on your site or blog. Lots of news sites publish feeds every minute and it will be a bad idea if you will visit each news site one by one just to get any news (darn! that would be a stupid move). To get ahead from others you need to be updated from any latest trends or news available in the net and using a Google reader is one solution to show all your favorite news site in one easy place. Just like a personalized inbox for the entire web.

Well, I try to visit the sites I love by my self.
I use Goolge Reader for sites which I want to follow but then once in two weeks or two.
