Google has a new favicon. It’s reason why they develop their new favicon is to look better on some new platforms like iPhone and other mobile devices. A favicon also known as website icon, page icon or urlicon is a small icon that you see in your browser’s URL bar, in your bookmarks list and next to the page’s title in a tabbed document interface. Google also developed a group of logo-based icons that considered as a unified set. Images can be seen above.
Google has tried more than 300 permutations. They wanted something distinctive and noticeable, something that embraced the colorfulness of the logo. Google’s design team tried hundreds of designs. Below are some examples.

However Google value some feedback from their avid users, if you have your own opinion or views about Google’s new favicon, send them to Google. I find Google’s new favicon looks simple but presentable.
