This news really took my attention after lurking from one site to another scouting some weird articles. An eight month old baby boy was for sale on internet auction site eBay. It was happen in Germany and the German police investigates the mom who put baby on eBay. The 23 year old mother told the authorities that it was only a joke (darn that isn’t a good joke). The baby was now put in the state custody while the investigation is still on going.
Numbers of people called the authorities across Germany when they saw the offer on eBay that says: “Baby — collection only. Offer my nearly new baby for sale because it cries too much. Male, 70 cm long.” The opening bid was 1 euro or $1.57 . Authorities are now investigating on suspicion of child trafficking.
“It was only a joke. I just wanted to see if someone would make an offer. They’ve taken my son to hospital and I’ve got to take psychiatric tests next week.” said by the mother in a Bild newspaper.

I can’t believe that someone would actually do this! It is fine to joke about it behind closed doors but to actually do it is a completely different story! I have to say as a parent myself, this is a totally irresponsible thing to do!
Good post, keep up the good work!
