Convergys a relationship management provider has announced its expanding of operations in the Philippines, the company will add 5 new contact center facilities in the country. Three will be located in Metro Manila and 2 in Cebu City and Santa Rosa, Laguna. This could be one great opportunity for the Filipinos, as we all know that call center jobs is one of the in demand jobs in the country today.

This new contact center will bring the total number of sites in the Philippines to 14 and ability to employ an additional of 7,000 employees, which will bring Convergys total number of employment in the Philippines to approximately 20,000 individuals. This contact center will provide voice calling, e-mail, web chat and back office application and document processing.

Convergys also annouced a partnership with Alcatel-Lucent. By this partnership Alcatel-Lucent is allow to combined Convergys Infinys application into their Business Support System to provide operators with a Pre-Integrated, Converged Billing And Customer Care Solution.
