Stolen Mac Leads The Arrest of Two Burglary Suspect

Two burglary suspects were arrested with the help of a remote desktop featured found in some Mac computers. The “Back To My Mac” features lets you access and control your Mac running OS X Leopard from any other Leopard based Mac over the internet and a .Mac subscription is required.
The said thieves has stoled Flat-Screen TVs, iPods, DVDs and two laptop computers in an apartment in New York. One of the said laptop owner was an Apple store employee. Kait Duplaga one of the laptop owner said that he learned that his computer was being used on the internet and turned on the Back to My Mac feature. The said feature allowed Duplaga to operate it remotely and using the camera installed Duplaga snapped images on one of the burglary suspect. The said photo lead the arrest of two suspects of the said crime and recover nearly all the stolen property.
