Floyd Mayweather Jr. and Oscar de la hoya rematch is in progress. Just a simple recall Mayweather won a split decision and take De La Hoya’s junior middleweight belt when they meet last May 5 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas. The specific date is still not confirm whether it is on Sept 13 or 20. The match between the two crowd favorite boxers is still not confirm. But according to some sources the match between Maywiether and De La Hoya has broke box office record with a total gross of $165 million.

Golden Boy Promotions CEO Richard Schaefer said that the deal of the said rematch is close to finish. De La Hoya had planned to return to the ring on May 3 this year but sad to say he has no opponent. His prospect was to face British Ricky Hatton but Mayweather ruined that plans when he returned to welterweight division and knocking out Ricky Hatton.

If this rematch happen for sure Oscar De La Hoya vs Floyd Mayweather Jr. tickets would be one of the dream tickets that a boxing fans wanna have. De La Hoya (38-5, 30 KOs) while Mayweather (39-0, 25 KOs). The first match was a successful one and for sure boxing fans would not missed for a rematch.
