Software Giant Microsoft has released five critical security patches for Windows, Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer. To learn more about the said issue click here.
The five critical security patches are:
Vulnerability in Microsoft Project Could Allow Remote Code Execution - This one is designed to resolve Microsoft Office Project, an attacker could take complete control of the system once the user opens a malicious Project File.
Vulnerabilities in GDI Could Allow Remote Execution - Attacker could allow remote code execution if a users open a malicious EMF or WMF image file. GDI stands for Graphics Device Interface.
Security Update of ActiveX Kill Bits and Cumulative Security Update for Internet Explorer - Issues on affect users who visited malicious Websites using Internet Explorer. Updates on ActiveX Kill Bits also includes updates on kill bit for Yahoo! Music Jukebox products.
Vulnerability in VBScript and JScript Scripting Engines Could Allow Remote Code Execution - This updates resolves issues on vulnerability in VBScript and JScript scripting engines in windows. Attackers who exploited this vulnerability could gain access to user’s system and allow them to take full control.
