The two leading Web browsers Microsoft’s Internet Explorer and Mozilla’s Firefox continues to develop a more built-in protection against phishing, viruses and other malicious software.
Internet Explorer 8 features a better malware protection through Safety Filters, a more comprehensive feature than IE 7 phishing filter.
The Safety Filter continues to block known Phishing sites and now blocks sites known to contain malicious software that could harm users’ computer or steal their information. Beyond this improved protection, the Safety Filter operates more quickly than ever before to ensure that users can browse both safely and quickly.

Internet Explorer 8 beta version is now available for download.
On the other hand Mozilla also has plans in improving malware protection in their Firefox 3, currently in beta 1 release note. Mozilla malware protection warns users when they arrive at sites which are known to install viruses, spyware, trojans or other malware.
Now it’s your choice would you go for IE 8 or Firefox 3 ?
