Each of us has its own way or idea on how to burst our traffic sites. The big question is “what’s your traffic source anyway? Some might not answer this question because for them it’s to confidential (I hope you’re not one of them
). Besides this could give you an idea on where to concentrate things to increase or even burst enough your traffic. Below are some data from Google analytics:

2. & 3. entrecard - No more arguments Entrecard really helps a lot. Although some people doesn’t like their system and I respect there opinion.
4. direct - this could be my frequent readers (could be a dream anyway ).
5. blogcatalog - just participate on some discussion I’m sure people will get interest on you and spent some time to visit your site. Add more friends and stay connected with them by throwing some messages.
6. joanjoyce - a blogger for almost 4 months who snatch a PR 4 and I’m happy for her. Her banner ad price is $10 per month and it’s worth enough.
7 . google - search engine results. some seo stuff I guess.
8. mybloglog - just like blogcatalog, my advice is just be active on the community and you’ll see the results. That’s my stats for now and I will work more to improve it. Have a nice day

The big percent of my daily visitors are coming from Google.com followed by direct visitor coming to my blog directly and from other sites that have link my blog, of course that’s include Entrecard.

Oddly enough, right now StumbleUpon and BlogCatalog are my biggest traffic sources. Next is Google then EntreCard. Most of my Google hits come from Google Images though- which really disappoints me because most people looking for images grab it and go-especially when I post a new Maxine Cartoon I’ve received in email-which is the top search phrased used to find my blog.

@rhyan: I really don’t know how BlogCatalog has worked for me-since I rarely login! Maybe once a week, sometimes every two weeks. I then add those who have added me and it just keeps going. I’ve noticed a lot of click throughs to individual posts lately too- so maybe it’s the type of people who are adding me to their friend/network lists.
LOL and glad you liked that post- I had TWO people email me to tell me it offended them. I told them it was meant to be humorous and, since it’s my blog and the situation happened to me- then they should get over it

I got them mostly from SU. This surprises me, since I’m not very active there. But I’m going to make a good use of it..
