The world’s highest denominated bank notes is now available and it could only be valid in Zimbabwe, a cold ten Million dollars. The central bank of southern Africa has issued a ten Million Zimbabwe dollar note . One million and Five million dollar notes are also available. Well Zimbabwe could be now crowded with modern millionaires. The new ten million dollar note is equivalent about £2 or 4 US dollars at the dominant black market exchange rate. Even so, A hamburger and chips at an ordinary cafe cost about 15 million dollar Zimbabwe dollars.
Zimbabwe faces the world’s highest official inflation rate for an estimated to 25,000 per cent. Independent financial institution says real inflation is closer to 150,000 per cent. The new note is valid only from January 1 to June 30 this year.
