Learn How Super Affiliate Bronwyn Bamber Turned Her Business Around with James Martell’s Proven 8-Step Approach (Part 1)

When Bronwyn Bamber joined James and countless other merchants and online publishers for Affiliate Summit, little did she know her life was about to change.

It took a chance meeting in Halifax, Nova Scotia at a small Alexander Keith’s pub, for Bronwyn to realize that she was on the wrong side of the field, so to speak. So, after talking to James, Arlene, and a handful of their students, Bronwyn made the life-changing decision to resign from her job as an affiliate manager and start her own online business as an affiliate/publisher.

Bronwyn tells listeners all about the mistakes she made as she painstakingly built her first site and how she used James’ Affiliate Marketer’s Handbook to bring her back around to the 8 steps, which she applied to achieve her own online success.

Listeners also hear how Bronwyn and her partner started out by working around-the-clock to get nearly 20 sites (and 5,000 pages of content) on the Net before realizing they were doing something wrong. Frustrated and questioning her decision to work
from home as an affiliate, Bronwyn called James.

5 top traffic sources from the kiddo

Each site owners has its own way on how they will improve their site traffic. This maybe one of the difficult part especially if your still the new kiddo. Some are hiring SEO experts just to get a nice results while others are working on their own. As what my friends told me before “never be afraid to try something new” and be resourceful on every important details that you may needed. These are the top 5 resource where I get most of the traffic.

StumbleUpon - It’s a social bookmarking site where you can gain an excellent amount of traffic in a short time. There are other social bookmarking sites too like Digg and Del.ico.us where you can also use to gain enough traffic. As of the moment StumbleUpon is my main source and ready to take Digg in a few days.

Entrecard - It’s an internet business card where you can use to promote your blog from other blogs by purchasing entrecard credits. The system runs on a credit system. When this thing was introduced by Shoemoney in his blog it never came into my mind to tried it. Until a couple of days past and noticed more blogs are posting about entrecard. It does help but it takes a lot of time to visit one blog to another just to drop a credit for you to earn. Patience would be my exact word to describe it.

Blog/Forum Commenting or Posting - Try to post at least 5 to 10 comments a day every time you roam around from one blog to another. Comment with sense will mostly took somebody’s attention. Then it will made them curious enough to look for your site.

BlogCatalog/Mybloglog/Bumpzee/Taggzilla - It is a social blog directory or a community. Here you can promote your blog to other members, add friends and build your own community or neighborhood as well.

Do some SEO - It is like doing well in school to get higher grades. Probably the same with optimizing your site well to get high results. These are the tweaks I’ve done so far: Placing a robots.txt file for example see mine HERE. robots.txt is a file that tells various search engine spiders not to crawl or index certain section or pages on your site. It helps to prevent to much indexing and prevents certain areas in your site from being indexes. Permalinks issue. Most sites have numbered permalinks which search engine doesn’t understand. Permalinks link directly to a certain blog post. Purpose is to be more easily bookmarked or gathered by bots for search engines. The last is Keyword Density…probably you might say it’s not complete yet and your absolutely right!!!. I’m just starting to learn this things. Just like what carlocab says “Don’t be afraid of trying things. Don’t be dumb enough to try it in your bread and butter either. Experiment, study then experiment again.”
