Affiliate Article I by James Martell

If You Could Work
From Anywhere in the World, Where Would it Be?
Coffee
Talk with Chris Sanderson from AMWSO.com
You already know that James and wife Arlene travel frequently and believe strongly in taking regular break-ations, but did you know that they are looking at taking their affiliate business on the road for six months a year?
Looking to “see more of the planet,” James talks to Chris, who runs AMWSO: Affiliate
Program Management Services mostly from his home, utilizing his downtown office
space just about five percent of the time, and the two discuss how he went from
being an older teen in England to traveling throughout North America, then working
in Denmark and Sweden for four years, afterward applying for jobs in Japan, Hungary
(from where he couldn’t even read the potential employer’s reply to his application),
and Asia, and how he finally landed in Thailand just five days after the 1992 coup.
A fascinating Coffee Talk, listeners also learn more about Chris’ company, AMWSO which, as he puts it is “the oil that lubricates the relationship between merchants and affiliates,” and why he is so very fond of Gaiam.com.
Just as interesting, is the information Chris provides on Thailand’s wonderful culture, the cheap cost of living, and how he and his team of 20 can enjoy a nice
dinner out (“including fresh seafood, huge prawns, and more” for about $80 (USD). What’s more, he says a “huge” home on a sprawling piece of land outside the city for him, his wife and two children, could easily be purchased for a mere $100,000.
Chris says he enjoys working with such a talented, diverse team and truly appreciates
the fact that at any given time, their downtown office, which is certainly too small
to hold them all at once, may be completely empty because his team members are working while they are at home or, better yet, traveling to interesting places worldwide.
Perhaps it is Chris’ unique outlook here that led the AMWSO team to win a prestigious
LinkShare award.
Chris and James also discuss outsourcing at length, and other interesting strategies
and techniques you won’t want to miss.

On the beach or the lake. Anywhere near water. Then again, that wouldn’t really be “work” but more play.
rhyan: on the beach w/ a cold beer, while watching sexy ladies
