Email. Short for electronic mail. Snail mail are more romantic, but email is commonly use nowadays and it’s more faster.

Sign up for skype (skype.com) or any other internet telephony. Just an easy installation and configuration for you to hear your love one’s clear voice. Skype is free to other people on skype and cheaper to phones and mobile around the globe.

Cheap calling rates. Find out when your telephone provider cuts the calling rates or some promo. Always be updated to them.

Post some photos. Posting some photo’s on the web is one of the easiest way to let your partner know how you are at present. Sign up on some social network like Friendster, Myspace and many more. Or try some online photo management and sharing applications like flickr.

Use some prepaid cards. Prepaid cards not only offers good rates but it also helps you budget your calls.

Use a webcam. It’s not a new thing. But its one of the great way for communication. Web chat ads a little flavor in chatting as you are able to see the one you are talking to, making it more fun.
