Release Candidate for version 7.10 Ubuntu is now available. The Ubuntu team announces the Release Candidate for version 7.10 of Ubuntu, Kubuntu, Edubuntu, Gobuntu, and Xubuntu codenamed “Gutsy Gibbon”. The final release of version 7.10 is said to be scheduled on October 18, 2007 and will be supported for almost 18 months on desktops and servers. However users with required longer support on servers may choose to continue using Ubuntu 6.06 LTS with security support until 2011 rather than upgrade it to 7.10.
The purpose of the said Release Candidate is to try one last round of testing before the release of the final version. Lots of highlights available for Desktops , Server, Edubuntu, Kubuntu, Gobuntu.
To download and try the Ubuntu 7.10 Release Candidate, Choose any of the mirror that is more closest to you.
